Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cipriano Sanabria (16 - 23) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Ramirez Aguiniga(45(5) - 26(2)) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1: 

Aguiniga connects with a solid cross.  
Aguiniga quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sanabria throws a left hook, but Aguiniga holds on to his opponent.  Aguiniga leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aguiniga cuts off the ring, trapping Sanabria in a corner.  Aguiniga drives a sharp left hook into Sanabria's body.  
Sanabria throws a left hook, but Aguiniga clinches his opponent.  Aguiniga leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Aguiniga lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Sanabria lands a right hook.  
Sanabria throws a left hook, but Aguiniga ties up his opponent.  Sanabria is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Sanabria pushes his forearm into Aguiniga's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Aguiniga lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Aguiniga holds on to his opponent.  Aguiniga pushes his forearm into Sanabria's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Sanabria quickly recovers. 
Aguiniga walks Sanabria onto the ropes.  Sanabria throws a right hook, but Aguiniga clinches his opponent.  Aguiniga pushes his forearm into Sanabria's face.  The referee warns Aguiniga and breaks the clinch.  
Sanabria is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Aguiniga steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Aguiniga holds on to his opponent.  Aguiniga leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Aguiniga's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sanabria steps to the outside.  Aguiniga lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Aguiniga lands a cross.  
Aguiniga closes the distance.  Aguiniga pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Aguiniga lands a sharp left hook.  
Aguiniga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Sanabria could be stopped here, if Aguiniga can find the right shot!  Aguiniga drives a potent left uppercut into his opponents body.  SANABRIA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Sanabria has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Aguiniga pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Aguiniga steps inside and digs in a left hook to Sanabria's body.  Aguiniga holds on to his opponent.  Aguiniga leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Aguiniga's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Aguiniga gets on the inside.  Sanabria digs in a right hook to Aguiniga's body.  
Aguiniga manouvers Sanabria into a corner.  Aguiniga connects with a spiteful right hook.  SANABRIA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Aguiniga!
