Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/03/2038 from Montevideo, Uruguay:

The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quin Ruano (61(29) - 8) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Cortez Montera(1 - 4) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  

Round 1:

Ruano is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Montera's ribs.  
Ruano pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ruano is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp left uppercut.

Ruano throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Ruano holds on to his opponent.  Ruano tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Montera behind the head. The referee warns Ruano and breaks the clinch.

Ruano closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Ruano ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Ruano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ruano lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Ruano ties up his opponent.  Ruano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Ruano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Round 2: 

Ruano lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Ruano lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ruano lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Ruano manages to force Montera into the corner.  Ruano lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND MONTERA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Ruano lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  It looks like Montera has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ruano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Montera hits home with a right hook.  
Ruano lands a hurtful right hook.  MONTERA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Ruano!
