Carlos Platero vs Seth Vagay

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/02/2038 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Platero (7 - 3) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Seth Vagay(2 - 1) from Zamboanga City, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Platero closes the distance.  Platero pivots to the side of his opponent, but Vagay digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Platero gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Vagay advances into close range and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Platero is on target with a left uppercut.  
Platero connects with a sharp cross.  
Platero digs in a left hook to Vagay's body.  
Vagay throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Platero closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Platero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Platero's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Platero pivots from in front of his opponent.  Platero attempts to land a jab, but Vagay slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Platero is on target with a jab.  
Platero pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Platero connects with a solid right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vagay's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
