Hikaru Amano vs Hugh Herriott

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/02/2038 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hikaru Amano (48(1) - 12) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hugh Herriott(3 - 11) from Tacoma, USA.  

Round 1: 

Amano lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Amano gets on the inside.  Herriott throws a right hook, but Amano ties up his opponent.  Herriott leans on his opponent using all his weight. Amano pushes his forearm into Herriott's face.  The ref breaks Amano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Herriott quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Herriott throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Herriott pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Amano lands a solid right uppercut.  
Herriott snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Amano advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Amano steps inside and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Herriott pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, jab and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Amano closes the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Amano clinches his opponent.  Amano throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Amano.  
Amano walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Amano throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Amano clinches his opponent.  Amano pushes his forearm into Herriott's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Amano to stop fouling.  
Herriott is on target with a jab.  
Amano forces Herriott to retreat into the red corner.  Herriott tries to land a right hook, but Amano sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Amano hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Amano lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Amano steps inside and drives a left hook into Herriott's body.  
Amano lands a cross.  
Herriott pivots to the left of his opponent.  Herriott tries to land a jab, but Amano sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
