Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/02/2038 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ja-choel Soh (7 - 14) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Alec Mateer(3 - 9) from Pueblo, USA.  

Round 1: 

Soh lands a jab.  
Soh tries to keep the action at long range and drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.

Mateer sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Soh lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Soh tries to step out of his opponents range.  Soh sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Soh attempts to land an overhand right, but Mateer slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Mateer cuts off the ring, trapping Soh on the ropes.  Mateer is on target with a left uppercut.  
Soh steps to the outside.  Mateer lands a sharp cross.  
Mateer is on target with a stinging cross.  
Mateer lands a jab.  
Mateer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Soh lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.

Mateer attempts to land a cross, but Soh parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.

Soh lands with a stinging jab.  
Mateer sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Soh digs in a firm right uppercut to Mateer's ribcage.  
Soh steps inside.  Mateer lands a right uppercut.  
Soh advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Soh sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Soh is on target with a right hook to Mateer's body.  Soh ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mateer pushes his forearm into Soh's face.  The referee warns Mateer and breaks the clinch.  
Mateer forces Soh to back into the ropes.  Mateer pivots to the right of his opponent, but Soh lands a right hook.
