Andy Saul vs Prince Alooma

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/01/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Saul (60(5) - 11) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Prince Alooma(5 - 13) from Ogbomosho, Nigeria.  

Round 1: 

Saul is on target with a jab.  
Alooma lands a cross.  
Alooma pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Saul hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Alooma lands a cross.  
Saul closes the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  Saul clinches his opponent.  Saul leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saul lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Saul lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Saul lands a solid left hook.  
Saul forces Alooma to back into a corner.  Alooma throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Saul clinches his opponent.  Saul is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Saul slams a hurtful left hook into Alooma's ribs.  ALOOMA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Saul ties up his opponent.  Saul leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Alooma recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Saul lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Saul throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Saul holds on to his opponent.  Alooma is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Alooma.  It looks like Alooma has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Saul hits home with a firm right hook.  
Saul lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Alooma throws a right hook, but Saul clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Saul pushes his forearm into Alooma's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Saul.  
Saul quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Saul lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Saul ties up his opponent.  Saul leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Saul drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Saul pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Saul lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Saul lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Saul lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Saul digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Alooma steps away from his opponent.  Saul lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Saul closes the distance and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Saul lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Alooma recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Saul lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Saul manages to force Alooma onto the ropes.  Saul quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ALOOMA!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Saul!
