Michael Rowand vs Kong Kuan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/11/2037 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michael Rowand (2 - 3) who hails from Modesto, USA and Kong Kuan(1 - 5(1)) from Wuhan, China.  

Round 1: 

Kuan closes the distance.  Kuan digs in a right hook to Rowand's body.  
Rowand lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Kuan lands a left uppercut.  
Kuan gets on the inside.  Kuan pivots to the left of his opponent, but Rowand drives a right uppercut into Kuan's ribcage.  
Kuan gets on the inside.  Rowand connects with a right hook.  
Rowand sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rowand lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rowand stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Kuan lands with a sharp jab.  
Rowand gets on the inside.  Rowand pivots to the right of his opponent, but Kuan lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rowand is looking to close the distance.  Rowand pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rowand hits home with a left hook.  
Rowand pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook.

Kuan manages to force Rowand into the corner.  Kuan is on target with a left hook.  
Rowand lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rowand sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Kuan's body.  
Rowand lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Rowand tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a cross, but Kuan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rowand advances into close range.  Rowand pivots to the left of his opponent, but Kuan is on target with a firm right hook.  
Kuan lands a firm left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rowand's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Kuan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
