Angel Alarcon vs Xabat Frances

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/11/2037 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Alarcon (44 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Xabat Frances(4 - 7) from Havana, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Frances lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Alarcon drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Frances throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Frances switches the action to the outside.  Alarcon finds the target with a jab.

Frances is on target with a solid left uppercut to Alarcon's ribs.

Alarcon manouvers Frances onto the ropes.  Frances throws a left hook, but Alarcon holds on to his opponent.  Frances leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Alarcon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Alarcon is looking to close the distance and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Alarcon hits home with a left uppercut.  
Alarcon throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Alarcon ties up his opponent.  Alarcon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Alarcon and breaks the clinch.  
Alarcon lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Frances lands a left uppercut.  
Alarcon is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Alarcon hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Frances is on target with a right hook to Alarcon's body.  
Frances manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Alarcon finds the target with a jab.  
Alarcon advances into close range.  Frances goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Alarcon time to recover.  
Alarcon forces Frances to retreat into a neutral corner.  Frances tries to land a right hook, but Alarcon blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
