Gordon Chisholm vs Luca Veltroni

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/10/2037 from Boston, USA:

The Boston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gordon Chisholm (38 - 11) who hails from Boston, USA and Luca Veltroni(2 - 2) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Chisholm steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Veltroni hits home with a right uppercut.  
Veltroni tries to land a left hook, but Chisholm blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Chisholm finds the target with a jab.  
Chisholm feints a right, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Chisholm tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Veltroni steps inside and manouvers Chisholm onto the ropes.  Chisholm is on target with a left hook to Veltroni's body.  
Chisholm lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Veltroni digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chisholm's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Round 2: 

Chisholm retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Veltroni accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Chisholm.  
Veltroni gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Veltroni steps inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Veltroni is on target with a cross.  
Veltroni tries to land a cross, but Chisholm sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Veltroni tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Chisholm lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Veltroni advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Veltroni steps inside and lands a firm left uppercut.  Chisholm ties up his opponent.  Chisholm leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Veltroni pushes his forearm into Chisholm's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Veltroni to stop fouling.  
Veltroni closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chisholm steps away from his opponent.  Veltroni attempts to land a cross, but Chisholm parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Chisholm lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Chisholm clinches his opponent.  Veltroni tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chisholm's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Veltroni's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Veltroni advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but Chisholm clinches his opponent.  Veltroni throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Veltroni is looking to close the distance and connects with a right uppercut.  Chisholm holds on to his opponent.  Chisholm leans on his opponent using all his weight. Veltroni uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Chisholm behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.
