Dave Croy vs Paul Tew

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/09/2037 from El Paso, USA:

The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dave Croy (13 - 11) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Paul Tew(0 - 3) from Saint Paul, USA.  

Round 1: 

Tew advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Croy lands a jab.  
Croy digs in a solid right uppercut to Tew's ribs.  
Tew is on target with a left hook.  
Tew steps inside.  Croy lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Croy steps to the outside and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Tew closes the distance and forces Croy to retreat onto the ropes.  Tew quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Croy tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tew lands a cross.  
Tew throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tew closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Croy in a corner.  Croy hits home with a left uppercut.

Tew gets on the inside.  Croy lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Croy lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Croy steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Croy feints a left, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Tew forces Croy to retreat onto the ropes.  Croy finds the target with a jab.
