Boris Zitnik vs Azhdar Majceev

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/09/2037 from Bratislava, Slovakia:

The Bratislava venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Boris Zitnik (21 - 9) who hails from Bratislava, Slovakia and Azhdar Majceev(6 - 13) from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  

Round 1: 

Majceev advances into close range.  Majceev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zitnik is looking to keep his distance.  Majceev is on target with a solid cross.  
Majceev closes the distance and walks Zitnik into a corner.  Zitnik lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Zitnik tries to keep the action at long range.  Zitnik quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Zitnik switches the action to the outside.  Zitnik sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Zitnik hits the target with a hard jab.  
Majceev connects with a right hook.  
Majceev lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zitnik lands with a ramrod jab.  
Zitnik tries to step out of his opponents range.  Zitnik sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Zitnik is on target with an overhand right.  
Zitnik lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Majceev steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zitnik's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Majceev advances into close range and manages to force Zitnik into a corner.  Majceev lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Zitnik steps to the outside.  Zitnik is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Majceev hits home with a cross.  
Zitnik feints a left, and then lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.
