Jeong-hyeop Mah vs Gapit Toha

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/08/2037 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jeong-hyeop Mah (3 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Gapit Toha(6 - 8(2)) from Jakarta, Indonesia.  

Round 1: 

Mah lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Toha attempts to land a jab, but Mah sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Toha lands a firm cross.  
Mah tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Mah connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Mah switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  Mah tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Toha sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Toha tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Toha throws a left hook, but Mah clinches his opponent.  Toha is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Toha advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Toha hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Toha advances into close range.  Mah throws a right uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Mah holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mah pushes his forearm into Toha's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mah about fouling.

Mah closes the distance and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Toha throws a left hook, but Mah clinches his opponent.  Toha throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Toha pushes his forearm into Mah's face.  The referee warns Toha and breaks the clinch.  
Mah is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Toha attempts to land a jab, but Mah slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Toha is on target with a firm right hook.  
Toha lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mah lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mah steps to the outside and hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Mah feints a jab, and then hits home with an overhand left.  
Mah drives a sharp left uppercut into Toha's body.  
Toha connects with an overhand right.  
Toha tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Mah lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Mah tries to keep the action at long range.  Mah feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Mah steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Toha tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Toha's ribcage.  
Toha finds the target with a jab.  
Toha is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Toha attempts to land a right hook, but Mah slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Toha's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Mah sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Toha is on target with a sharp cross.  
Toha sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Mah lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Toha tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Toha is looking to close the distance.  Mah lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Mah tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Toha now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Toha gets on the inside.  Mah is on target with a firm right hook.  
Mah steps away from his opponent.  Toha lands a solid overhand right.  
Mah switches the action to the outside.  Mah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mah throws a right uppercut, but is off-target.  Mah clinches his opponent.  Toha uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mah behind the head. 
Toha manages to force Mah onto the ropes.  Mah hits home with a left hook.  Mah holds on to his opponent.  Mah leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mah is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mah feints a jab, tricking Toha into throwing a cross counter.  Mah avoids the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Toha is on target with a cross.
