Andy Saul vs Gethin Hardy

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Saul (53(4) - 11) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Gethin Hardy(2 - 5) from Hoover, USA.  

Round 1: 

Saul hits home with a right hook.  
Hardy advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Saul holds on to his opponent.  Hardy pushes his forearm into Saul's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hardy about fouling.  
Saul lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Saul lands a left hook.  
Hardy connects with a right hook.  
Saul hits home with a left uppercut.  
Saul steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  Saul clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saul is on target with a right uppercut to Hardy's body.  
Hardy lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hardy lands a cross.  
Hardy lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Saul attempts to land a right hook, but Hardy sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Saul cuts off the ring, trapping Hardy on the ropes.  Saul lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

Saul lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hardy quickly recovers. 
Saul sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Saul lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Hardy lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Saul digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Saul lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Saul throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.

Hardy gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but Saul dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
