Jordan Wiley vs Johnny Bothwell

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/07/2037 from Portmore, Jamaica:

The Portmore venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jordan Wiley (21(12) - 9) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Johnny Bothwell(5 - 12) from Portmore, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Wiley steps inside.  Bothwell throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wiley lands a firm left hook.  
Bothwell attempts to land a jab, but Wiley dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Wiley closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Wiley throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Wiley clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bothwell pushes his forearm into Wiley's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bothwell about fouling.  
Bothwell switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Wiley dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Wiley is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Wiley crashes a big right hook to his opponents body.  BOTHWELL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Wiley clinches his opponent.  Wiley pushes his forearm into Bothwell's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wiley knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Wiley lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING BOTHWELL DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Wiley lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, KNOCKING BOTHWELL DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Bothwell now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Wiley closes the distance.  Bothwell drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  Wiley ties up his opponent.  Wiley leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Wiley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bothwell is on target with a right hook.  
Wiley digs in a right uppercut to Bothwell's ribcage.  Wiley ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wiley whips in a mean right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  BOTHWELL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Wiley holds on to his opponent.  Wiley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wiley to stop fouling.  
Wiley is looking to force the stoppage!  Wiley whips in a DEVASTATING left hook to his opponents body.  BOTHWELL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Wiley!
