Shayan Younan vs Sergey Hopko

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/05/2037 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shayan Younan (2 - 1) who hails from New Delhi, India and Sergey Hopko(0 - 3) from Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.  

Round 1: 

Hopko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Hopko is looking to keep his distance.  Younan lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Younan gets on the inside.  Younan is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Younan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Younan gets on the inside.  Younan pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Younan is on target with a firm right hook.  
Hopko is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hopko steps to the outside.  Hopko stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Younan lands a cross.  
Younan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Younan hits home with a left uppercut.  Younan tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Younan's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Younan's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
