Owen Kennison vs Michael Chalmers

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/03/2037 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Owen Kennison (37 - 15(1)) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Michael Chalmers(3 - 2) from Lincoln, USA.  

Round 1: 

Chalmers sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kennison lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chalmers switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Chalmers sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kennison lands a left hook.  
Kennison is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kennison digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chalmers is on target with a cross.

Kennison lands a stinging right hook.  
Chalmers lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kennison manages to force Chalmers onto the ropes.  Kennison lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Kennison gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kennison manages to force Chalmers onto the ropes.  Chalmers throws a left uppercut, but Kennison ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kennison pushes his forearm into Chalmers's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kennison.  
Kennison closes the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Kennison ties up his opponent.  Kennison is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Kennison is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Chalmers pivots to the side of his opponent, but Kennison lands a left uppercut.  Kennison throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Chalmers's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Chalmers pivots to the right of his opponent.  Chalmers hits home with a cross.  Chalmers throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kennison hits home with a right hook.  Kennison attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Chalmers time to recover.  
Kennison lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Chalmers throws a left hook, but Kennison holds on to his opponent.  Kennison leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kennison tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chalmers behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kennison is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kennison advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Chalmers's ribs.  Kennison clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Chalmers pushes his forearm into Kennison's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chalmers about fouling.  
Kennison digs in a right hook to Chalmers's body.  
Kennison drives a left hook into Chalmers's body.
