The Macon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joel Scrivener (24 - 9) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Sam Bornacin(0 - 12) from Omaha, USA.  

Round 1: 

Bornacin lands a left hook.

Scrivener steps inside and walks Bornacin onto the ropes.  Bornacin throws a left hook, but Scrivener clinches his opponent.  Bornacin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Bornacin uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Scrivener behind the head. 
Bornacin is on target with a left hook to Scrivener's body.  Bornacin attempts to land a jab, but Scrivener sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Scrivener advances into close range.  Scrivener attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Bornacin's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Scrivener hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Scrivener gets on the inside.  Bornacin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bornacin throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Scrivener advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Bornacin lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Scrivener closes the distance.  Bornacin throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Scrivener holds on to his opponent.  Scrivener pushes his forearm into Bornacin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Bornacin pushes his forearm into Scrivener's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bornacin about fouling.
