Andy Saul vs Stephen Binner

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/07/2036 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Saul (39(1) - 11) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Stephen Binner(1 - 0) from Des Moines, USA.  

Round 1: 

Binner finds the target with a jab.  
Saul advances into close range.  Binner is on target with a left uppercut.  
Saul lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Saul attempts to land a jab, but Binner parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Binner tries to keep the action at long range.  Saul lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Saul hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Binner steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Saul lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Saul gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Binner tries to keep the action at long range.  Saul lands with a hard jab.  
Saul closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Saul holds on to his opponent.  Binner leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Binner tries to step out of his opponents range.  Saul lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Binner steps away from his opponent.  Saul is on target with a cross.  
Saul lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Binner is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Saul lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.

Round 2: 

Saul steps inside.  Binner throws a left uppercut, but Saul holds on to his opponent.  Saul is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Saul.  
Binner is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Binner is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Saul lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Saul lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Saul advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Saul clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Binner pushes his forearm into Saul's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saul lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Saul attempts to land a right hook, but Binner dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Saul hits home with a cross.  
Binner attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Saul time to recover.  
Saul manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Saul lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Saul pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Saul thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Binner away.  Saul lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS BINNER TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Saul whips in a HUGE right uppercut to Binner's ribcage.  BINNER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
It looks like Binner has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Binner throws a right hook, but Saul clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Saul pushes his forearm into Binner's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Saul to stop fouling.  
Binner throws a left uppercut, but Saul ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Binner pushes his forearm into Saul's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Binner about fouling.  
Saul hits home with a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Binner's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Binner throws a right uppercut, but Saul ties up his opponent.  Saul is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saul lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Saul holds on to his opponent.  Saul leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Saul lands a sharp cross.  
Saul gets on the inside and lands a stinging right hook.  
Binner is on target with a left hook.  
Saul hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Saul is on target with a right hook.  
Saul lands a HUGE right hook.  BINNER IS HURT!  
Saul is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Saul lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BINNER!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Saul!
