Alejandro Cortes vs Juan Campo

Boxing Daily Report from the Guatemala National Finals 2036,  taking place on 26/03/2036 from Mixco, Guatemala:

The Mixco venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Cortes (7 - 16) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Juan Campo(33(3) - 29) from Mixco, Guatemala.  

Round 1: 

Campo advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cortes strikes his opponents body with a cross.  Cortes tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Cortes is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but Campo sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Campo steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Campo holds on to his opponent.  Campo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cortes lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Campo is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Campo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Campo pushes his forearm into Cortes's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Campo.  
Cortes drives a stinging cross into Campo's body.  
Campo is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Campo lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Campo holds on to his opponent.  Campo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.
