The Montevideo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ricardo Fama (11(1) - 3(1)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Obafemi Thomas(5 - 11(2)) from Kaduna, Nigeria.

Fama drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Thomas throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Thomas lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Fama ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Thomas pushes his forearm into Fama's face.  The ref breaks Fama's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Fama feints a cross, and then lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Thomas gets on the inside.  Fama throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Fama holds on to his opponent.  Fama throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Fama.

Fama feints a jab, tricking Thomas into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Fama springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Fama lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
