The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ichiro Kita (7 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hikaru Tanji(0 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.

Tanji is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kita tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kita is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Tanji is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Tanji forces Kita to retreat into a corner.  Kita lands a left hook.  
Tanji hits home with a cross.  
Tanji gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kita's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Tanji's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Tanji gets on the inside.  Tanji pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kita tries to land a right hook, but Tanji dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Tanji gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Kita in a corner.  Kita lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tanji is on target with a firm cross.  
Tanji closes the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  Tanji throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tanji manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kita hits home with a cross.
