Blake Power vs Arthur Oliva

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/06/2034 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Blake Power (18 - 7) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Arthur Oliva(1 - 2) from Las Vegas, USA.  

Round 1: 

Oliva lands a firm overhand right.  
Power sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Power lands with a stiff jab.  
Oliva quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Power throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Power is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Power lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Oliva walks Power into a corner.  Power lands a jab to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Oliva steps away from his opponent.  Power hits home with a firm cross.  
Power lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Power drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Oliva tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Power contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Oliva hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Power's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Power lands a solid right hook.  
Power finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Power is looking to close the distance.  Oliva lands a sharp left hook.  
Power advances into close range.  Oliva hits home with a solid left hook.  
Oliva is on target with a left hook to Power's ribs.  
Power steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Power closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Oliva sidesteps to the left of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Power advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Oliva sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Power closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Oliva is on target with a solid left hook to Power's liver.

Oliva pivots to the side of his opponent, but Power hits home with a ramrod jab.
