Diego Ossa vs Lisandro Gil

Boxing Daily Report from the Mexico National Finals 2034,  taking place on 11/04/2034 from Saltillo, Mexico:

The Saltillo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Ossa (2 - 2) who hails from Tehuacan, Mexico and Lisandro Gil(18(8) - 5) from Tlaquepaque, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Gil lands a left hook.  Gil throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Ossa is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Gil ties up his opponent.  Gil is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Gil and breaks the clinch.  
Ossa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Gil lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Gil is looking to close the distance and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Gil steps inside.  Ossa throws a left hook, but Gil holds on to his opponent.  Gil is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gil connects with a cross.  
Gil hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Gil is looking to close the distance.  Gil sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ossa recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gil lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gil forces Ossa to retreat into the corner.  Gil lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gil drives a powerful right hook into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OSSA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Gil lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND OSSA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Gil clinches his opponent.  Gil is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Gil's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  It looks like Ossa has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Gil quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid right hook.  
Gil is on target with a solid right hook to Ossa's body.  
Gil is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Gil lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gil clinches his opponent.  Gil is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gil to stop holding.  Ossa almost instantly recovers. 
Gil lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ossa quickly recovers. 
Gil lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gil connects with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ossa's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Gil lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ossa switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gil steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Gil lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Gil is on target with a firm left hook to Ossa's body.  
Gil is on target with a stinging jab.  
Ossa pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ossa attempts to land a jab, but Gil dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Gil gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Gil lands a hurtful right hook.  OSSA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Gil!
