Goro Nomura vs Nao Domen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/02/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Goro Nomura (19(2) - 24) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Nao Domen(1 - 4(3)) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Nomura closes the distance.  Nomura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Domen throws a right hook, but Nomura ties up his opponent.  Domen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nomura lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Nomura lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Nomura is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Domen's body.  
Nomura cuts off the ring, trapping Domen in the corner.  Nomura lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Nomura gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Nomura drives a sharp left hook into Domen's ribs.  
Nomura closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Nomura clinches his opponent.  Domen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nomura forces Domen to retreat into a corner.  Nomura digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Domen throws a right hook, but Nomura clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nomura pushes his forearm into Domen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nomura about fouling.  
Nomura lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Nomura is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Domen is on target with a right hook.  
Domen feints a jab, and then is on target with a cross.  
Nomura steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Nomura throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Nomura ties up his opponent.  Nomura leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Domen switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Nomura slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Nomura lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Domen is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a solid jab.  
Nomura steps inside.  Nomura sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Domen throws a left hook, but Nomura ties up his opponent.  Nomura is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Domen's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
