Kaede Kawamoto vs Nao Domen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/02/2034 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kaede Kawamoto (41(4) - 19) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Nao Domen(1 - 2(1)) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Kawamoto is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kawamoto finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Domen walks Kawamoto onto the ropes.  Kawamoto finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Kawamoto lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Domen switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kawamoto is on target with a firm left hook.  
Domen is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Domen hits home with a solid cross.  
Kawamoto closes the distance.  Kawamoto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Kawamoto advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.  
Domen switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kawamoto closes the distance and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Kawamoto closes the distance.  Kawamoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Domen throws a right hook, but Kawamoto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kawamoto pushes his forearm into Domen's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kawamoto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kawamoto lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Kawamoto holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Domen pushes his forearm into Kawamoto's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Domen about fouling.  
Kawamoto throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Kawamoto ties up his opponent.  Kawamoto pushes his forearm into Domen's face.  The ref breaks Kawamoto's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Kawamoto lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Domen almost instantly recovers. 
Kawamoto lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kawamoto walks Domen down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kawamoto lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Domen is on target with a firm left hook.  Kawamoto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kawamoto pushes his forearm into Domen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kawamoto about fouling.  
Kawamoto is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Kawamoto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kawamoto lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Kawamoto manouvers Domen into a corner.  Kawamoto lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kawamoto stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Kawamoto lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOMEN IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Domen now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Kawamoto pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Domen tries to land a right hook, but Kawamoto blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Kawamoto lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Kawamoto is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Kawamoto hits home with a firm right hook.  
Kawamoto lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kawamoto drives a sharp left hook into Domen's body.  
Kawamoto digs in a left hook to Domen's body.  
Kawamoto connects with a firm cross.  
Domen switches the action to the outside and attempts to land an overhand left, but Kawamoto sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Domen throws a right hook, but Kawamoto ties up his opponent.  Domen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kawamoto manouvers Domen into the corner.  Kawamoto lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kawamoto lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kawamoto digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Domen's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Kawamoto gets on the inside.  Domen throws a right uppercut, but Kawamoto clinches his opponent.  Kawamoto hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Kawamoto is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kawamoto gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS DOMEN TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Domen cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Kawamoto!
