I'm aware the game has really slowed down over the last few days, with the main pages taking 20+ seconds to load, while EOD processing is taking around 5 hours.

I think the web pages run most slowly when EOD is doing the more intense stuff.

Bear with me while I look for solutions. Maybe I'll have to simplify some of the processing which takes place.

its a bit of a sh*tshow at the moment.  windows security updates are preventing me updating my own game and looking for a way round it.  server ppl have had a look and said nothing wrong on their side.

waiting for the current processing to finish (fight sims taking place in the background) and then can have another look

What suggestions do you give for maybe trying to make the game processing less demanding? Would removing countries/inactive stables help the process? Example: Removing all inactive promotions or promotions that aren’t getting used correctly (by the AI) and releasing those fighters onto the Free Agent market to allow for promoters to make use of this fighters and being less demanding on the process.

I don’t know if logically it can work as it’s just a rough idea but I just thought it would be good to see where we (as a community) stand and what could benefit the game for everyone’s sake.

Yeah, maybe getting rid of some AI promoters will help overall.

But really I need to find the time to cut down some countries like I was planning...as that will reduce fighters, ai promoters and also rankings/titles.

Taking out one country per continent (except Europe who alreadygot Sweden cut) and maybe cut on the AI Promoters a little bit could help the situation. I used to play the old version of the game and now that I'm back, I'm surprised to see some low profile countries such as Mongolia having 100 fighters ranked in a few weight classes, I don't recall seeing something like that in the past.

The last processing took nearly 12 hours so I don't think any little tweaks like cutting down data will have any effect.

Think I'm going to have to migrate to a new server again. Looking at options.

omfg.

i copied the 5th November 2033 backups to my laptop and ran the full processing.

What took the server 12 hours, took just 20 minutes on my laptop.

definitely moving to  a new server
