John Ivery vs David Scobie

Boxing Daily Report from the The 478 Fight Club Productions promoted show at Macon Miller, Macon,  taking place on 04/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ivery (18(14) - 0) who hails from Fort Lauderdale, USA and David Scobie(1 - 1 - 2) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Ivery and Scobie weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dai Gibson, and the three ringside judges are David Tarbet, Leo Crowder and Paul Orem.  

Round 1: 

Ivery steps to the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ivery lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Scobie gets on the inside and forces Ivery to back into the ropes.  Ivery lands a sharp right hook.  Ivery ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ivery pushes his forearm into Scobie's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ivery to stop fouling.  
Ivery lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Scobie throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ivery lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Ivery hits home with a sharp cross.  
Ivery is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Ivery sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Scobie throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a potent right hook to Scobie's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE SCOBIE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ivery senses Scobie is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Ivery lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS SCOBIE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Scobie now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ivery is looking to keep his distance.  Ivery feints a cross, and then lands with a stinging jab.  
Ivery lands a jab to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ivery lands a ramrod jab.  
Scobie gets on the inside.  Ivery lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Ivery ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ivery tries to step out of his opponents range and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Ivery drives a jab into Scobie's body.  
Ivery attempts to land a cross, but Scobie sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Scobie's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ivery tries to keep the action at long range.  Ivery sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ivery lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Ivery lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ivery quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Scobie walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Ivery lands with a hard jab.  
Ivery steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ivery feints a right hook, and then connects with a stinging cross.  
Scobie steps inside.  Ivery lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ivery is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Scobie attempts to land a cross, but Ivery slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Scobie advances into close range.  Ivery lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Scobie's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Scobie's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Ivery is on target with a solid cross.  
Scobie steps inside and throws a right hook, but Ivery holds on to his opponent.  Ivery leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ivery lands a cross, jab and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Scobie advances into close range.  Ivery throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Ivery ties up his opponent.  Ivery throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ivery.  
Ivery lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ivery tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ivery lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Ivery senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Scobie and just needs the right shot.  Ivery lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, DROPPING SCOBIE TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Scobie cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ivery!
