James Herritt vs James Raulston

Boxing Daily Report from the Raven Promotions promoted show at Sam Stealey Gym, Savannah,  taking place on 06/10/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Herritt (16 - 8(2) - 2) who hails from Atlanta, USA and James Raulston(12(2) - 2) from Atlanta, USA.  Both Herritt and Raulston weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Curtis, and the three ringside judges are Will Sangster, Harry Baisley and Chris Wigton.  

Round 1: 

Herritt attempts to land a right hook, but Raulston parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Herritt is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Herritt lands an overhand right.  
Raulston is looking to close the distance.  Herritt throws a left uppercut, but Raulston holds on to his opponent.  Raulston is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Raulston and breaks the clinch.  
Raulston hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  Raulston ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Raulston walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Raulston lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Herritt quickly recovers. 
Raulston sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Herritt pivots to the left of his opponent.  Herritt throws a left hook, but Raulston holds on to his opponent.  Raulston leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Raulston's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Raulston pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Herritt's ribs.  
Raulston manages to force Herritt into a corner.  Raulston drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Raulston is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Raulston feints a cross, and then hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Raulston tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Raulston tries to land an overhand right, but Herritt parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Herritt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with an overhand left.  
Raulston advances into close range.  Herritt pivots from in front of his opponent.  Herritt throws a right hook, but Raulston clinches his opponent.  Raulston leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Raulston's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Raulston gets on the inside and forces Herritt to back into the ropes.  Raulston lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Raulston sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Raulston lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Raulston attempts to land a jab, but Herritt sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Raulston gets on the inside.  Raulston pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Raulston lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Raulston ties up his opponent.  Raulston leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Raulston gets on the inside.  Raulston pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Raulston steps inside and lands a solid left hook.  
Herritt steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Raulston hits home with a cross.  
Raulston advances into close range.  Herritt lands a right hook.  
Raulston lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Raulston lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Raulston holds on to his opponent.  Herritt pushes his forearm into Raulston's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Raulston drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Raulston gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Herritt recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Raulston lands a left hook.  
Herritt tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Raulston lands a left hook.  
Raulston pivots from in front of his opponent and crashes a nasty right hook to his opponents body.  HERRITT HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Herritt tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
Raulston gets on the inside and manouvers Herritt onto the ropes.  Raulston lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Raulston steps inside and connects with a forceful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE HERRITT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Raulston is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Raulston lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Herritt now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Herritt's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Herritt's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Herritt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Raulston is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a firm cross.  HERRITT IS HURT!  Herritt quickly recovers. 
Raulston steps inside and slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  HERRITT IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Herritt tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook to Herritt's ribs.  
Raulston steps inside and lands a HUGE right hook.  HERRITT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Herritt recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Herritt finds the target with a jab.  
Raulston drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Herritt sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Raulston closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Raulston gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Herritt's body.  
Raulston gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Raulston is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Herritt steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Raulston lands a MASSIVE right hook.  DOWN GOES HERRITT!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Raulston!
