Syed Saadia vs Amjad Bilal

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Algeria-Annaba promoted show at Annaba Abdul, Annaba,  taking place on 14/09/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Algeria-Annaba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Syed Saadia (11 - 9(1) - 5) who hails from Annaba, Algeria and Amjad Bilal(11(8) - 3(2)) from Annaba, Algeria.  Both Saadia and Bilal weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Zouani, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Fadela, Ibrahim Hamlaoui and Ibrahim Galloul.  

Round 1: 

Bilal is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Saadia hits home with a cross.  
Bilal steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bilal lands a sharp left hook.  Bilal attempts to land a left uppercut, but Saadia sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bilal pivots to the left of his opponent.  Saadia drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Bilal pivots from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a solid jab.  
Bilal lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Bilal is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  Bilal holds on to his opponent.  Bilal pushes his forearm into Saadia's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bilal.  
Bilal is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a solid jab.  
Bilal closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Saadia is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Bilal slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Bilal switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Saadia advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Bilal lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Bilal attempts to land a right hook, but Saadia sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Bilal advances into close range.  Bilal pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Bilal steps inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  Bilal clinches his opponent.  Bilal is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bilal tries to keep the action at long range.  Saadia hits home with an overhand left.  Saadia tries to land a cross, but Bilal blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Saadia's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Saadia's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Bilal closes the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  Bilal clinches his opponent.  Bilal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Bilal's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bilal lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Bilal steps inside.  Bilal drives a right hook into Saadia's ribs.  As Saadia tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bilal dabs at his face checking for damage.

Bilal steps inside.  Bilal pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Saadia's body.  
Saadia steps to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Bilal feints a cross, and then is on target with a jab.  
Bilal lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bilal advances into close range.  Saadia throws a left hook, but Bilal clinches his opponent.  Bilal is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bilal lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Bilal pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Saadia's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Bilal pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, AND DROPS SAADIA!  He manages to get up at 9.  Saadia almost instantly gets his legs back.

Bilal is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a solid cross.

Bilal steps inside.  Bilal sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Saadia's ribcage.  
Bilal gets on the inside.  Bilal sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  
Bilal lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES SAADIA!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
The right shot from Bilal could be enough to force the stoppage!  Bilal connects with a VICIOUS left hook.  SAADIA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Bilal!
