Mortimer Beaufort vs Chase Verne

Boxing Daily Report from the Phaahla Promotions promoted show at Algernon Mollere Gym, Paris,  taking place on 11/09/2039:

Clearly Phaahla Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Ile-de-France Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mortimer Beaufort (7 - 7(1) - 4) who hails from Paris, France and Chase Verne(1 - 6 - 4) from Paris, France.  Beaufort weighed in at 122 pounds, while Verne weighed in at 121 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Thibaud Lippmann, and the three ringside judges are Horace Ort, Gage Bouchez and Russel Pagnol.

Beaufort throws a right uppercut, but is off-target.  Beaufort clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Verne pushes his forearm into Beaufort's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Verne wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Beaufort dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Beaufort steps away from his opponent.  Beaufort sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.
