Rich Moffit vs John Kettles

Boxing Daily Report from the Ras Marcus promoted show at Kingston Woodhouse, Kingston,  taking place on 09/09/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rich Moffit (28(7) - 8(1)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and John Kettles(5 - 14(3) - 4) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Moffit and Kettles weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dom Polland, and the three ringside judges are Paul Risk, Neil Harp and Oliver Hedley.  

Round 1: 

Moffit hits home with a sharp cross.  Moffit attempts to land a jab, but Kettles blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Kettles tries to step out of his opponents range.  Moffit quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.

Moffit switches the action to the outside and is on target with a solid cross.  
Moffit gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Moffit ties up his opponent.  Moffit is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Moffit's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Moffit is looking to keep his distance.  Kettles attempts to land a jab, but Moffit sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Moffit is looking to close the distance.  Kettles throws a left hook, but Moffit clinches his opponent.  Moffit is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Moffit walks Kettles down, trapping him in the corner.  Moffit lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Moffit ties up his opponent.  Moffit pushes his forearm into Kettles's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Moffit lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Moffit finds the target with a jab.

Moffit steps inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Moffit holds on to his opponent.  Moffit leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kettles tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Moffit lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Moffit is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kettles quickly recovers. 
Moffit lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kettles's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Kettles's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kettles's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Moffit switches the action to the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kettles quickly recovers. 
Moffit hits home with a solid cross.  
Moffit connects with a cross.  
Moffit is on target with a cross.  
Moffit lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kettles almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kettles sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Moffit connects with a left hook.  
Moffit switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Kettles forces Moffit to retreat onto the ropes.  Moffit lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS KETTLES TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Moffit attempts to land a right uppercut, but Kettles blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moffit is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Kettles tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Kettles tries to keep the action at long range.  Moffit lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, DROPPING KETTLES TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Moffit!
