Michael Mahinay vs Santiago Alikpala

Boxing Daily Report from the Molekane Promotions promoted show at Pablo Beltran Gym, Rodriguez,  taking place on 28/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Mahinay (11(2) - 1(1)) who hails from Antipolo, Philippines and Santiago Alikpala(2 - 9 - 1) from Antipolo, Philippines.  Mahinay weighed in at 140 pounds and 12 ounces, while Alikpala weighed in at 140 pounds.    As Mahinay came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ashley Copon, and the three ringside judges are Diego Correira, Rafael Camargo and Jesus Katipunan.
