Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Westin Bonaventure Hotel, Los Angeles,  taking place on 24/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Danny Griffith (5(4) - 0) who hails from Nashville, USA and Jordan Smith(2 - 0 - 2) from Los Angeles, USA.  Griffith weighed in at 130 pounds, while Smith weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alec Lochridge, and the three ringside judges are Michael Rice, Bradley Fortun and Mel Paton.  

Round 1: 

Griffith steps inside.  Smith throws a right hook, but Griffith clinches his opponent.  Griffith is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Griffith.  
Griffith lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Griffith lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Griffith holds on to his opponent.  Griffith throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Griffith walks his opponent into the corner.  Griffith sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Griffith lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Griffith clinches his opponent.  Griffith uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Smith behind the head. 
Griffith lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Griffith ties up his opponent.  Griffith leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Griffith lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Griffith lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Griffith holds on to his opponent.  Griffith leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Griffith is looking to close the distance.  Griffith is on target with a solid right hook.  As Griffith tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Smith dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Griffith is on target with a left hook to Smith's body.  
Griffith digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Griffith clinches his opponent.  Griffith tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Smith behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Griffith.  Griffith throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Griffith lands a left uppercut.  
Griffith lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Griffith holds on to his opponent.  Griffith leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Griffith lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Griffith lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING SMITH TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Smith is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Griffith!
