Cris Rondon vs Fausto Corong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Cavite promoted show at Imus Cabauatan, Imus,  taking place on 31/08/2039:

Clearly AI Philippines-Cavite have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Rondon (5 - 14 - 2) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Fausto Corong(9 - 27(3) - 6) from Imus, Philippines.  Both Rondon and Corong weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Atay, and the three ringside judges are Peter Lungay, Alejandro Vivar and Joaquin Malacad.

Corong gets on the inside.  Rondon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Corong lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Corong has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
