Michi Akagi vs Kenji Yamamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Hikaru Anno Gym, Akashi,  taking place on 28/08/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michi Akagi (14 - 12(2) - 4) who hails from Himeji, Japan and Kenji Yamamoto(19 - 16(1) - 5 - 1(NC)) from Nishinomiya, Japan.  Both Akagi and Yamamoto weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Muramoto, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Soda, Fumio Imai and Ryo Takano.  

Round 1: 

Yamamoto manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Akagi hits home with a left hook.  
Akagi digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Yamamoto steps inside and lands a right hook.  
Yamamoto hits home with a right uppercut.  
Yamamoto cuts off the ring, trapping Akagi on the ropes.  Akagi connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Akagi's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Akagi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Yamamoto's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Yamamoto's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Yamamoto steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Akagi dabs at his face checking for damage.

Yamamoto steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Yamamoto has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
