Leighton Newman vs Dominic Edmiston

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Oliver Benichou Gym, Edmonton,  taking place on 19/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Newman (18 - 16 - 1) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Dominic Edmiston(18 - 4) from Edmonton, Canada.  Newman weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces, while Edmiston weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Bach, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Sinton, Zachary Sinton and Tyson Bart.  

Round 1: 

Newman advances into close range.  Edmiston lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
