Matthew Mardock vs Adam Towns

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Manitoba promoted show at Bradley Pearce Gym, Winnipeg,  taking place on 20/08/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Manitoba Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Mardock (6(1) - 2(1)) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Adam Towns(3 - 10 - 1) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Mardock weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces, while Towns weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Rusk, and the three ringside judges are Theo Walker, Steven Menzies and Blake Brydon.  

Round 1: 

Mardock lands a jab.

The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mardock.

Mardock gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Towns dabs at his face checking for damage.
