Henri Scaec vs Ernst Van den Casteele

Boxing Daily Report from the Fosuhehe Promotions promoted show at Antwerp Elseneer, Antwerp,  taking place on 19/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium-Flanders Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Henri Scaec (4 - 5) who hails from Ghent, Belgium and Ernst Van den Casteele(1 - 8(1) - 1) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Scaec and Van den Casteele weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Polle Van den Broucke, and the three ringside judges are Tino Laureys, Deder de Backer and Polle Van den Broucke.  

Round 1: 

Van den Casteele closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Scaec is on target with a left hook to Van den Casteele's body.  
Van den Casteele pivots to the right of his opponent.  Van den Casteele attempts to land a left hook, but Scaec blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Van den Casteele dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Van den Casteele.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
