Qulu Yousif vs Azad Yakubov

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Abutalybov, Baku,  taking place on 15/08/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Qulu Yousif (37(24) - 8 - 2) who hails from Lankaran, Azerbaijan and Azad Yakubov(12(1) - 3(1)) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Both Yousif and Yakubov weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Asgar Aslanov, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Beibutov, Seyfulla Ismailov and Ahmed Beibutov.  

Round 1: 

Yakubov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Yousif lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Yousif steps inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Yousif drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Yousif closes the distance and walks Yakubov down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Yousif lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Yakubov throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Yakubov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Yakubov tries to land a jab, but Yousif sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Yousif throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Yousif closes the distance.  Yousif pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Yakubov is on target with a right hook.  
Yousif steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Yousif advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Yousif connects with a left hook.  
Yousif pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Yousif lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Yakubov is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Yousif is on target with a left hook to Yakubov's ribs.  
Yousif lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Yousif manouvers Yakubov into the corner.  Yousif sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yakubov throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Yousif clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Yousif pushes his forearm into Yakubov's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Yousif lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING YAKUBOV DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Yousif holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Yakubov pushes his forearm into Yousif's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Yakubov.  Yakubov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yousif steps inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Yousif lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Yakubov is on target with a cross.  
Yousif is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yakubov's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Yakubov's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Yakubov's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Yakubov's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Yousif walks his opponent into the red corner.  Yousif lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Yakubov could be stopped here, if Yousif can find the right shot!  Yousif lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, DROPPING YAKUBOV TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Yousif is on target with a potent right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
The right shot from Yousif could be enough to force the stoppage!  Yousif lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND YAKUBOV IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Yousif lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND YAKUBOV IS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Yakubov can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Yousif!
