Sam Bowie vs Michael Cole

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at USA-Kentucky Gym, Louisville,  taking place on 04/08/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Bowie (13(1) - 3) who hails from Louisville, USA and Michael Cole(8 - 7(2) - 2) from Louisville, USA.  Both Bowie and Cole weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Hutcheon, and the three ringside judges are Roger Crombie, Dave Stark and Michael Harkins.  

Round 1: 

Bowie digs in a left hook to Cole's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Bowie has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
