Waqas Wassan vs Chris Hersi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Little Flowers Arena, Kampala,  taking place on 04/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqas Wassan (19 - 12(3) - 3) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Chris Hersi(20(4) - 15(4) - 3) from Kampala, Uganda.  Wassan weighed in at 140 pounds and 12 ounces, while Hersi weighed in at 140 pounds.    As Wassan came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Polo Bourdillon, and the three ringside judges are Asif Jappa, Okal Nyakairima and Rehman Madani.
