David Jones vs Rex Valentine

Boxing Daily Report from the Eddie Burns promoted show at Los Angeles Obeid, Los Angeles,  taking place on 30/07/2039:

Clearly Eddie Burns have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-California Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Jones (15 - 18(2) - 11) who hails from Sacremento, USA and Rex Valentine(6 - 20 - 4) from Lancaster, USA.  Jones weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Valentine weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Dickie, and the three ringside judges are Peter Bara, Glynn Flockhart and Paul Ross.

Jones quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.
