Khalid Mohamed vs Asif Asmar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Johor Bahru Kaba, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 01/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Khalid Mohamed (18(11) - 1(1)) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Asif Asmar(33(18) - 11(11)) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Mohamed and Asmar weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Sabet, and the three ringside judges are Khalid Lodhi, Obaid Diab and Farhan Younis.

Mohamed steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mohamed advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  Mohamed attempts to land a right hook, but Asmar blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Mohamed lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Mohamed tries to land a left hook, but Asmar sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Mohamed connects with a firm cross.  Mohamed attempts to land a cross, but Asmar sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Mohamed gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Asmar drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  Asmar tries to land a jab, but Mohamed sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Asmar steps to the outside.  Mohamed senses Asmar is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Mohamed lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, KNOCKING ASMAR DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Mohamed!
