Diego Mathe vs Michael Abernethy

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Wegmans Sports Complex, Rochester,  taking place on 30/07/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Mathe (27(22) - 6(1)) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Michael Abernethy(44(35) - 15(11) - 1) from Jackson, USA.  Both Mathe and Abernethy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Zurio, and the three ringside judges are Peter Gatti, Mick Cohran and Chris Kinnick.
