Carlos Sauceda vs Felippe Maya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Guadalajara Gato, Guadalajara,  taking place on 28/07/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Jalisco Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Sauceda (10 - 24(3) - 5) who hails from Guadalajara, Mexico and Felippe Maya(26(20) - 18(8)) from Tlaquepaque, Mexico.  Both Sauceda and Maya weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Machuca, and the three ringside judges are Kiki Calzadilla, Quico Mosso and Jeraldo Canada.  

Round 1: 

Maya gets on the inside.  Maya sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Maya hits home with a stinging right hook.  Maya holds on to his opponent.  Maya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sauceda throws a right uppercut, but Maya holds on to his opponent.  Maya pushes his forearm into Sauceda's face.  The ref breaks Maya's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maya is on target with a left hook.  Maya holds on to his opponent.  Maya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Maya.  
Maya drives a left uppercut into Sauceda's liver.  
Maya advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sauceda throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Maya connects with a sharp right hook.

Sauceda throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Sauceda's body.

Maya throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Maya clinches his opponent.  Maya tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sauceda behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maya to stop fouling.  
Maya is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Maya lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sauceda quickly recovers. 
Maya manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Sauceda throws a right hook, but Maya ties up his opponent.  Maya leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Maya hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Maya lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Maya connects with a left uppercut.  
Sauceda throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Maya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sauceda throws a left hook, but Maya clinches his opponent.  Maya leans on his opponent using all his weight. Maya hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maya to stop fouling.  
Maya steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Maya lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Maya lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Maya finds the target with a jab.  
Maya advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Sauceda's ribs.

Maya steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Maya clinches his opponent.  Maya leans on his opponent using all his weight. Maya tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sauceda behind the head. Sauceda uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Maya behind the head. 
Sauceda switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Maya lands a double right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING SAUCEDA DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Sauceda now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Sauceda switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Sauceda closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Maya digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Maya gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Maya lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Maya ties up his opponent.  Maya leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Sauceda pushes his forearm into Maya's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maya is on target with a solid left uppercut.  Maya ties up his opponent.  Maya is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Maya's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sauceda tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sauceda steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Maya lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Maya lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND SAUCEDA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Sauceda recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maya is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Maya holds on to his opponent.  Maya leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maya drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Maya gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS SAUCEDA!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.

Maya whips in a nasty right hook to Sauceda's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE SAUCEDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Sauceda quickly recovers.
