Yoshi Bando vs Taro Okimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Imada, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/07/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yoshi Bando (11 - 23 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Taro Okimoto(3 - 3(1) - 3) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Bando and Okimoto weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Kawabata, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Minami, Eiji Suzuki and Eiji Suzuki.  

Round 1: 

Okimoto attempts to land a jab, but Bando slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Okimoto manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  As Bando tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Okimoto dabs at his face checking for damage.
