Max Cain vs Lee Bricken

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Academy promoted show at Auckland Irihapete, Auckland,  taking place on 14/07/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Max Cain (4 - 16 - 3) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Lee Bricken(12 - 6 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Cain and Bricken weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kinzey, and the three ringside judges are Kieran Beynon, Cody Master and Chris Heretini.  

Round 1: 

Bricken is on target with a jab.  
Bricken steps to the outside and lands a cross.  Bricken throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bricken gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Cain has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
