Igor Lipkin vs Igor Markow

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Saint Petersburg promoted show at Saint Petersburg Stenin, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 05/07/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Saint Petersburg Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Igor Lipkin (28(9) - 2) who hails from Saint Petersburg, Russia and Igor Markow(15 - 17 - 6) from Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Lipkin weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces, while Markow weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Georgiy Yashin, and the three ringside judges are Melor Sadowski, Dimi Dundukov and Fedor Olshansky.  

Round 1: 

Lipkin closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Lipkin ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lipkin pushes his forearm into Markow's face.  The referee warns Lipkin and breaks the clinch.

Lipkin is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Lipkin manages to force Markow onto the ropes.  Lipkin lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Lipkin lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Lipkin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  It looks like Markow has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Lipkin tries to land a cross, but Markow blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Markow steps away from his opponent.  Lipkin lands a cross.  
Lipkin lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Markow quickly recovers. 
Lipkin advances into close range and drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Lipkin steps inside.  Lipkin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Lipkin connects with a sharp right hook.  
Lipkin lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Lipkin ties up his opponent.  Lipkin hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lipkin lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lipkin drives a solid right hook into Markow's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lipkin dabs at his face checking for damage.

Lipkin drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Markow tries to land a jab, but Lipkin sidesteps and counters with a VICIOUS cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARKOW WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Lipkin steps inside and digs in a sharp right uppercut to Markow's body.  It looks like Markow has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Markow tries to step out of his opponents range.  Markow sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lipkin connects with a cross.  
Lipkin gets on the inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Lipkin pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Markow finds the target with a jab.  
Lipkin gets on the inside and lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  Lipkin clinches his opponent.  Lipkin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
