Charlie Akre vs Gregor Powell

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at The Venue at UCF, Orlando,  taking place on 18/06/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Charlie Akre (2(2) - 0) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Gregor Powell(7 - 10(1) - 2) from Norfolk, USA.  Akre weighed in at 140 pounds, while Powell weighed in at 139 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Romans, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Buendia, Chris Sprout and James Sutherland.  

Round 1: 

Akre feints a jab, tricking Powell into launching a right uppercut counter.  Akre avoids the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Akre is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Akre is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Powell closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Akre clinches his opponent.  Akre pushes his forearm into Powell's face.  The ref breaks Akre's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Akre lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Akre lands a solid left hook.  Akre holds on to his opponent.  Powell pushes his forearm into Akre's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Powell to stop fouling.  
Akre crashes a big right hook to his opponents ribcage.  POWELL IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Akre lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Akre advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Akre gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Akre lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND POWELL IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Powell recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Powell gets on the inside.  Akre digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Akre lands a stiff jab.  
Akre advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Akre lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Akre walks Powell down, trapping him in the corner.  Akre lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Akre lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Akre is on target with a solid left hook.  
Powell throws a right uppercut, but Akre clinches his opponent.  Akre is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Akre.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Powell's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Powell's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Powell's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Akre lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS POWELL TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Akre steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a sharp jab.  Powell now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Akre lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Powell steps inside.  Akre lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS POWELL TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Akre!
