Joel Gallagher vs Antwan Quinn

Boxing Daily Report from the Peanut Promotions promoted show at The Grand Ballroom at The Plaza, New York City,  taking place on 08/04/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-New York State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Gallagher (15 - 16(1) - 6) who hails from New York City, USA and Antwan Quinn(28(9) - 13(5) - 1) from Syracuse, USA.  Gallagher weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces, while Quinn weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Renwick, and the three ringside judges are Sean Jackson, Dan Ronald and Neil Sneddon.  

Round 1: 

Quinn is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Quinn ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Quinn pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Quinn throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Quinn holds on to his opponent.  Quinn pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Quinn.  
Quinn steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Quinn lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Quinn clinches his opponent.  Quinn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Quinn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Quinn digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Quinn walks his opponent into the corner.  Quinn lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Quinn lands a right uppercut.  Quinn holds on to his opponent.  Quinn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gallagher throws a left uppercut, but Quinn clinches his opponent.  Quinn hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Quinn about fouling.  
Quinn drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Quinn connects with a left hook.  
Quinn advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Quinn attempts to land a left hook, but Gallagher blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Quinn walks his opponent into the corner.  Quinn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Quinn advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Gallagher's body.  
Quinn sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gallagher lands a right uppercut.

Quinn manouvers Gallagher into a corner.  Quinn is on target with a left hook.  Quinn holds on to his opponent.  Quinn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gallagher's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Gallagher's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Gallagher's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Gallagher's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
